Keep Life Organized with the Cozi Online Calendar!

A big part of who I am is memory loss. I have struggled with this for as long as I can remember (ha ha). I have forgotten SO much of my childhood (from what I’ve gathered that isn’t necessarily a bad thing!). I will remember snippets of the oddest moments from when I was a kid such as a friend’s mom’s snakes and specific Christmas presents, but really before age 10 I don’t have much of anything.

Today, I still have a huge problem with remembering small things from directions to shopping lists, regardless of how long ago I was told. I also have a big problem remembering the big things like whether or not my husband was on one knee when he proposed (I do remember where and when, but the details like that are lost in the abyss of my mind.)

Appointments are a big thing for our family due to multiple doctor’s appointments, work schedules, and other important reminders. That is where the Cozi calendar comes in (available in iPhone and Android for free). Available as an app and a website, the Cozi calendar is my favorite for keeping track of ALL of the reminders and lists that we need. I’ve used the free version of the Cozi calendar for probably 15 years and it has served me well. There are only a few things that the paid version does that are not on the free version that I could use (looking at a monthly view of a calendar with my appointments on it would be great!)

The Cozi Calendar

I have a family login so my daughter can add her own work schedule. The calendar is color coordinated, and you can choose which family members are attending which events. Each event even has a space for notes… this is where I put the address and phone number to new places! You can go backwards, as well if you need to find an appointment that has already passed. It is also very simple to reschedule (or correct) the date and time of an entry.

The Cozi Lists

Along with the calendar aspect, there is also a list function. You can create a number of lists for to-dos and different lists for shopping at different stores. You can check them off as you go, which is handy, and it is also available offline for those stores with no reception! Online, I can update a list on my phone and my husband can see it on his. Same with appointments.

The Cozi Recipes

There is a spot for recipes, and once you put the recipes in dashboard, it is super easy (on the computer) to add them to your calendar. You can also add a recipe from the internet by putting in the url. It’s like magic for your planning.

On Sunday is when I look at the week ahead and write it down somewhere visible for everyone to see. When I’m at my desk I can just look over to see what’s going on, but on the go… the Cozi calendar it is! I know this sounds like a sponsored post, but it isn’t… I am just sharing something that I love and use every day.

If you are looking for a way to get organized this year, the Cozi calendar is a great place to try. Calendar, lists, and recipes… all in one place… easy peasy.
