I’d like to welcome you to the new and improved Bucketful of Joy. Due to a horrible hijacking of my former blog and a dead laptop, I have lost ALL of my previous posts. I am heartbroken over that because I put my heart and soul into writing every word. All I have left are some Pinterest posts with broken links. 🙁
So, what have I been up to lately? Hubby and I take care of his grandmother full time. We also flip storage units, which is an adventure in itself. I crochet, create digital art printables, and homeschool 3 kids. We have lofty goals of moving to a piece of property and starting our own homestead.
I love looking at property online and daydreaming about what is possible! I want an older home that we can fix up into something fabulous, and the kids are scared of anything over 10 years old. We’re at an impasse. We’d like chickens, goats, and a couple mini cows. The girls are begging for a horse (talk about putting the cart before the horse), but I keep telling them that it’s better to have a friend with a horse than to have a horse yourself!
What do I hope to accomplish with this little website? I’d love to get back into writing every day and exploring some of my interests and sharing it with you! I’d like to hear from you about what you’d like to see. I’d also love to learn new things, branch out from my current interests, and take you along for the ride.
I think I may try to re-write my previous blog posts, but that would be so much work! I had a ton of them. You can look at my Pinterest and see the title pages of each post, but they click into nothingness. It’s sad really.
